Absolutely. Well water often carries higher sediment loads. The reinforced 20-inch housings and triple-drain valves are designed to handle high-particulate water much more effectively than standard city-water units.
Yes, you can do this. Please note that the system’s inlet and outlet markings are fixed. To accommodate your setup, you will need to flip the machine head. Simply unscrew the screws on the machine head, rotate it, and secure it back in place.
The purcooflow WHF2045B303 is designed primarily for indoor installation. We do not recommend installing the system outdoors where it would be directly exposed to rain, sunlight, freezing temperatures, or other harsh weather conditions. If outdoor installation is necessary, the system should be placed in a fully enclosed, weather-protected area** and protected from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions about installation.
Because jumbo housings hold significant water weight, they can be hard to open. The relief valve bleeds off internal pressure, making it much easier to unscrew the sump and perform maintenance without struggling.
While designed for DIY with a pre-mounted bracket, we recommend professional installation for well systems to ensure proper alignment with pressure tanks and existing sediment pre-filters.
