CTO⁺ is Purcooflow's specialized carbon filtration media designed for PFAS-focused filtration applications. It uses catalytic carbon in a carbon block configuration and is intended to provide additional filtration for certain PFAS compounds when used in the appropriate whole-house system. The CTO⁺ cartridge is designed for systems that specifically call for this filtration stage and should be selected according to your system configuration and water treatment needs.

If PFAS is a primary concern, consider a filtration system and replacement cartridge specifically designed and tested for PFAS reduction. Purcooflow offers the CTO⁺ PFAS replacement cartridge for compatible whole-house systems. The WHF2045B303 configuration combines sediment and carbon filtration with a specialized PFAS filtration stage. For best results, select the replacement cartridge that matches your system model and intended filtration configuration.

Replacement frequency depends on your water quality, household water usage, and the type of cartridge you use. Many Purcooflow sediment and carbon cartridges are recommended for approximately 6–9 months under typical conditions. Homes with higher sediment, iron, chlorine, or other contaminant levels may require more frequent replacement.
