Contact SupportNot at all. The P3 series is a "Plug-and-Play" system. No tools or faucet connections are required. Simply plug it into a power outlet, fill the back tank with tap water, and it’s ready to provide purified water instantly—perfect for renters or offices.
For optimal performance and water safety, we recommend replacing the filters every 6 months. The system features a built-in smart indicator that will flash to remind you when it's time for a change, ensuring you never miss a maintenance cycle.
The main difference lies in the final stage of filtration. P3A features a Mineralization filter that adds essential minerals back into the water for a healthy, alkaline pH. The standard P3 uses an Activated Carbon filter designed to polish the taste for ultra-pure, crisp water.
Our P3 series is highly efficient with an industry-leading 3.5:1 pure-to-drain ratio. This means for every 3.5 cups of pure water produced, only 1 cup is discarded, significantly reducing water waste compared to traditional RO systems.
We recommend using municipal tap water (TDS < 500 ppm). If using well water, please ensure it has been pre-filtered through a whole-house system to remove large particles or heavy sediment, which helps prevent premature clogging of the RO membrane.
